We can meet for carpooling at the Lowes parking lot in Bonsack at 12:00 for those interested in carpooling but know, I plan to stay for the whole event, so keep that in mind.

For starters, we will go and hike up Flat Top. This is a 4.7 mile out and back hike and I would consider this to be somewhat strenuous. This is my favorite hike at the Peaks of Otter. Afterwards, we will see how were doing on time and if were doing ok, we can cross the road where the downward trail for Falling Cascades is located. This is a 1.2 mile out and back. Don’t let the distance fool you, the hike back up can be a bear.

From there, we can head over to Buchanan and get dinner at a place called Mrs. B’s. I’ve been there before and they are pretty decent. Plus they are right down the road from AFOG.

We’ll finish the night with my buddy Tyler Parrish from the Oddfellows, where he will be performing solo. If you haven’t heard him play solo, he’s really good. And not saying that in bias, he is really good.
