Mill Mountain Loop to Star

This week, our new Monday Morning Hike Club will travel to the Mill Mountain Star. This will be about a 6 mile trail hike, strenuous because we are going up the mountain. We will do a loop hike, going gradually uphill along Woodthrush, Sidewinder, and Ridgeline trails. After the inevitable pictures at the Star, we will travel back down the mountain on the steeper Star trail. To make sure we have plenty of parking, we will meet at 9:30am at the Dollar Tree in the shopping center at 1322 Riverland Rd SE, Roanoke, VA (not at the nearby Dollar General!).
