Log Step Construction & Sidehill Construction

Help put in some trail! We still need to put in a dozen log steps and a couple hundred feet of sidehill at Mountain Shepherd Wilderness Survival School – our friend and partner. The school has generously offered the use of their facility to ATC & RATC and as a thank you, we’re putting the finishing touches on a short trail on their property.

We’ll carpool from the Orange Market to our parking lot. The parking lot is the first lot on the right after Mountain Shepherd’s driveway (heading West on 621). Once we arrive we’ll divvy up tools, and get to work. The hike in to the project is short – less than a half mile.

All safety equipment and tools will be provided.

Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and bring safety glasses and work gloves if you have them. Brings snacks, lunch, and plenty of water to get you through the day.

We’ll plan to work until 3:30 pm.
